Christopher has a Master's degree in Psychology and has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts for almost 20 years. He has been providing counseling services at his office in New Bedford proudly since 2008 working with individuals, couples, and families.
In his practice, Christopher emphasizes Mindfulness-based counseling models such as MBCT, (Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), ACT for Couples, Mindfulness-Based Sobriety, and MBSR (Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction). In the past several years, he has experienced the benefits of mindfulness and has learned about its foundational nature in personal wellness and being our best selves.
In 2006, Christopher also completed a Graduate Certificate program in Executive Coaching (GCEC) at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in Boston (now William James College). For over 10 years, he has practiced business coaching and OD in workplace settings serving as a clinical & OD consultant, leading management and career coaching programs, and in leadership roles for organizations in private, government (state and fed), and non-profit sectors.
He is a lifelong student of psychology, self-growth, performance improvement, and how to help others apply it in their personal and business lives. He relaxes and rejuvenates by spending time with family and friends, cooking, running, swimming, biking, boating, hiking, reading, and walking his dog, Kylie.
